Vanessa Levan

Vanessa has been a financial advisor at Busey since 2004, beginning her career in the financial services industry in 1999.

She inspires her clients by creating individualized solutions, acting as a partner and establishing a road map tailored to each client’s needs and best interests. She meets with her clients regularly to continually assess risk tolerance, goal progression and investment priorities. Vanessa measures her personal fulfillment through client relationships and progress.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in finance, she holds her Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses, as well as her producer's license for life, health and variable contracts in the state of Illinois. Vanessa is an active mentor to women both in the financial industry and in the community. It is her personal mission to help grow the number of women and minorities working as financial advisors, as well as to help people reach their full potential of personal and professional growth. She is involved in facilitating financial seminars and often serves as a guest speaker for college classes and workshops at Parkland College and The Gies Business School, among other community groups.

Vanessa resides in Fisher, Illinois, with her husband and their son and daughter, as well as their rescue dog, Callie. She is actively involved in the community, volunteering her time with her children’s school and athletic activities. She is passionate about participating in outdoor activities, staying active and gardening. Her family’s goal is to visit all 50 states and all the parks in the National Park System.
