Raymond James welcomes New York advisor team managing $207 million in assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed five financial advisors in Depew, New York to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Alex David, Northeast divisional director for RJFS.

As Buffalo Financial, the team is comprised of advisors Jeremy Beck, Matthew Pitrola, Jacob Wood, Tyler Sacco and Matt Wojick, supported by Business Coordinator Trish Del Prince, Administrative Assistant Dawn Esslinger, Marketing Consultant Haley Travers and Client Service & Research Assistant Gavin Beck. They join from Commonwealth Financial Network where they managed approximately $207 million in client assets. Together, they provide a broad range of services—including investment management as well as financial, insurance, and business planning—to a diverse client base.

Beck began his 22-year career in financial services at A.G. Edwards and spent the past eight years serving clients at Commonwealth. His experience is supported by a bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo.

Pitrola brings five years of financial services industry experience to his role as president of the practice. He holds a bachelor’s degree in financial analysis from the University at Buffalo.

Wood is also a graduate from the University at Buffalo, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. He began his career in 2022 with Buffalo Financial and now serves as a vice president of the practice.

A Buffalo, New York native, Sacco earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix and brings two years of financial services industry experience to his role as vice president.

Wojcik began his career in financial services with Buffalo Financial in 2025. He graduated from the State University of New York with a bachelor’s degree in business finance.
