Raymond James welcomes Arizona financial advisor managing $260 million

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisor Matthew Connell, CFP®, to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm's employee advisor channel ­– in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to Edward Sudzina, Southwest region director for RJA.

Connell arrives from UMB Financial Services where he managed approximately $260 million in client assets. He joins the established team at Cornerstone Financial Consulting of Raymond James and provides personalized financial planning to a variety of clients including families, individuals, corporate executives, business owners and pre-retirees.

Connell holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Arizona State University. He began his career in 1999 at Pruco Securities and most recently served for 20 years at his previous firm.
